Textiles & fabrication

Developing flexible, fabric-like structures and adapting large-format digital tools for garment-scale fabrication.

Current studio work explores how a 3D-printing process can be used to make textile structures. The starting point is the relationship between a printing path, a material and the flexibility of the resulting surface.

Rather than treating the printer as a fixed production tool, this work asks how its existing controls and workflows can be used differently. Patterns, connections and the behaviour of printed structures become design questions.

This is an area of active experimentation, alongside broader interests in material development and garment-making.
