Coded Components considers the relationship between function and form in small fabricated elements. A set of parameters can describe connection points, dimensions and a family of variations rather than one fixed shape.
The research direction spans furniture details, brackets and lighting components. Digital models and prototypes provide ways to compare a proposal with the requirements of the material and the object it belongs to.
